HOSPICE & VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION OF THE FLORIDA KEYS
NOW RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers play an important role at Hospice/VNA. The services provided by volunteers can comfort a patient and help a family member or caregiver get a much needed break. From reading for patients to shopping and running errands, a volunteer can have a positive impact on a patient’s life. The gift of your time is priceless and the rewards are infinite.

Hospice & Visiting Nurse Association often holds volunteer training. The training educates volunteers to sit with patients who are in the dying process and those with chronic illnesses and provide respite for their families. An extensive background check and training are required. The training is provided with a flexible schedule.
